Large solar parks have long boundaries, remote sections and valuable equipment that need coordinated security monitoring. Sara Electronics Security Pvt. Ltd. designs integrated perimeter protection systems that connect perimeter intrusion detection (PIDS), CCTV, gate monitoring and control room alerts. Drone-assisted verification can be considered where site conditions, operating procedures and permissions allow.

Protect the boundary and critical areas

A site-specific design can cover fence and wall sections, gates, culverts, difficult terrain and other vulnerable openings. It can also give higher priority to locations such as substations, inverter stations, battery storage areas, control rooms and cable storage areas.

How the system works

Detect: Fence-mounted, wall-mounted or buried PIDS detects a disturbance and identifies the affected zone. The sensing method is selected after reviewing the boundary and site conditions.
Verify: The alarm appears on a site map. Nearby fixed CCTV or PTZ cameras provide the operator with a view of the affected area.
Respond: The control room can acknowledge the alarm, warn the area through an IP speaker where installed, and dispatch security personnel. An integrated drone may provide an additional live view when approved for the site.
Record: The system can retain alarm details, camera footage, operator actions and incident notes for review and reporting.

CCTV and PTZ cameras: Visual verification of alarms during day and night, based on the camera design.
Gate and opening monitoring: Coverage of vehicle gates, personnel gates, culverts and other identified access points.
Control room integration: Site map, alarm prioritisation, camera call-up and operator workflow.
VMS or PSIM integration: Connection to an existing platform where compatible interfaces are available.
Optional drone integration: Alarm-coordinate handoff and live video for operator-directed verification, subject to feasibility and applicable permissions.
Event reporting: Records to support incident review, maintenance and response analysis.
